Review: Warcraft

For those who will go into Warcraft expecting it to finally be the video-game adapted movie that is worthy of critical acclaim, I’m am sorry to break you the news: it’s not. All is not lost, however; after the dust clears and things settled down—especially the Medivh = David Guetta in-jokes—you’ll find that Warcraft is ultimately a satisfactory adaptation of the gargantuan video game franchise. It certainly does fall to some common pitfalls of video game adaptations, but it brings enough to the table to make up for its shortcomings.
